In his series ‘Asphalt Meadows’, artist Werner turns his attention to the fleeting, often overlooked fragments of daily life—the quiet, small moments that pass us by without notice, yet collectively shape the fabric of our existence.
These are the moments that interest him most. Though seemingly insignificant, they carry a subtle emotional weight and quiet poetry. Werner sought to honor them by capturing these fragments through tiny human figures, delicately painted onto small canvases awash in a wide spectrum of color.
Each work transforms an otherwise ordinary instant into something lasting—a visual meditation on transience, presence, and the beauty of the everyday.
