There is a quiet wonder in encountering wildlife amidst the city. Yet, I rarely felt that same spark for the birds constantly lingering around us, even though they are practically living dinosaurs. One day, while walking through a park, I came across a chart of the local birds and realized how many of them I couldn't even name. It made me pause and think about the creatures and landscapes I thought were invisible, when in truth, I just hadn't taken the time to truly see them. Nature always flows past our boundaries. This piece holds my deep awe for that continuous flow of nature, effortlessly transcending the lines and order we humans try to set.
