There are moments when the familiar becomes strange, moments when we encounter a sublime sensation in which fascination and fear coexist. Living within a human-centered order that believes everything can be analyzed and controlled, we drift further and further from the gaze of wonder we once carried as children. The children in this work look up at the sky with eyes that hold a sense of the vast world and of life itself, quietly contemplating the wonder of the here and now.
