Once, my roaming connection cut out without warning, and I was caught off guard. It felt as though I had been left alone in the middle of a vast, open sea. I tried to retrace my memories to find my way back to the accommodation, but I kept feeling like I was heading further into a dead end. When the connection came back, I felt a strange mix of deflation and relief. I had been wandering right behind my guesthouse.
