NYC FLOU

In February 2022, Jonathan traveled alone to New York to seek a new direction. Although he was overwhelmed by the blinding lights of Times Square, he found inspiration in their intensity. He immediately took out his film camera and used a deliberately soft focus to create a composition rich in vibrant colors.
This piece offers different impressions depending on the viewer's distance. From afar, shapes are merely suggested, while the colors gently blend into each other in a soft harmony. Up close, however, the viewer's attention is drawn to the texture and grain of the film. A trace of tranquility within the chaos—a reason the artist cherishes this piece.
