SNIP SNAP SHIBA Seoul was created exclusively for this exhibition in Korea. In June 2025, following the decision to hold the exhibition, Yuri Himuro visited Korea for the very first time. During a short three-day trip, she explored Seoul with the GROUNDSEESAW  team, discovering delicate yet captivating scenes in the city’s vibrant rhythm. This piece will be sold exclusively through SEESAW COLLECT.

“New friends came to SHIBA’s lawn from Seoul. I was impressed by the way people in hanbok walked through Gyeongbokgung Palace, blending naturally with the modern city. I also loved the outdoor exercise equipment I found while walking around—though I didn’t dare to try the inversion table. I remember the stray cats, too. I stitched these moments into the fabric, and each time I cut the threads, the memories came back again.”
